The Roman Catholic Diocese of Luiza (Latin: Ludovican(us)) is a diocese located in the city of Luiza in the Ecclesiastical province of Kananga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
On Friday, January 3, 2014, Pope Francis accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Luiza presented by Bishop Léonard Kasanda Lumembu, C.I.C.M.. Pope Francis appointed the Reverend Father Felicien Mwanama Galumbulula, who is a university professor and Second Secretary of an organization called CENCO. Galumbulula will be ordained and installed as Bishop of Luiza at a date in the near future.[1]
