The Royal College of Engineering & Technology is one of the Next Generation Engineering Institutions in Thrissur, Kerala, South India, which has been producing quality technocrats in our country for more than a decade. The college is situated in Thrissur district, the cultural capital of Kerala, with cochin International Airport just 75 km away. Royal College of Engineering & Technology, an NRI Venture, came into existence in the year 2003 at a place called Chiramanangad, near Akkikavu, the meeting point of Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram districts. The college is well connected by road and railway. The nearest railway stations are Guruvayoor (15 km), Thrissur (24 km) and Pattambi (18 km).

Hostel
College has their own hostels within the campus where 150 boys and 300 girls can be given accommodation. Hostels are under the control of Warden. Matrons and resident tutors are appointed to look after the discipline.
Physical Education
Physical Education Department functions aiming overall development of students under the leadership of a trainer. The industry today seeks not just knowledge workers, but action oriented leaders who adapt to the changing situation with ease. We believe the active involvement in sports and games will imbibe these qualities in each student. The department caters to the student’s need in exercising and exposing their talents in various sports activities. The activities of the department of physical education emphasise the physical development and mental fitness of the students by providing training and coaching in major games like football, cricket, basketball, shuttle badminton, volleyball, chess, table tennis, etc.
