Saba Qamar Zaman (Urdu: صبا قمر زمان; born 5 April 1984) is a Pakistani film and television actress.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and Career

Born in Hyderabad and raised in Gujranwala, Qamar moved to Lahore to pursue further studies. In Lahore, she made her debut in PTV Home drama Main Aurat Hoon (2004).[5] Qamar made her debut in the TV series Main Aurat Hoon.[5] She won the PTV award for the best TV actress in both public and jury choice categories in the 16th Annual PTV awards on 23 July 2011 for her role in Tinkay.[6] She bagged the Best TV Actress trophy for her role as Suraiya in Dastaan at the first Pakistan Media Awards (2010), and was also the recipient of the Best TV Actress trophy in both the public and jury choice categories at the 16th annual PTV Awards (2011). She has won the award for best actress at the 17th Annual PTV Awards (2012) for her role in Tera Pyar Nahin Bhoole.[5]

In 2014, she made her film debut in movie Main Manto directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat.[7] She appeared in the spin-off to Karachi Se Lahore called Lahore Se Aagey.[8] It was announced that she will make her debut in Bollywood in Hindi Medium opposite Irrfan Khan.[9][10]
