Salvador Beltrán
Salvador Beltrán (born 1992, El Prat de Llobregat, Spain) is a Spanish pop singer.
Biography
Beltrán started his devotion to music as a boy. At 13, he began to play guitar, of which gave him his prime. He learned with videos, and began with soleares, flamenco, with covers of Gipsy Kings songs. He performed in the streets of his neighbourhood, jointed with people that knew more than him and taught him. Afterwards, he carried a cross of which he calls his "Duende Gabriel", which he still carries to this day. With years passing, the time would cross in his life to another "duende" Alejandro Sanz. Salvador decided to post his first song Imagínate through Twitter and the response to it was immediate. Beltrán had a big surprise when listening to the art that distills this young composer but besides it showed a lot interest in supporting his music. It spoke with his own discoverer and producer of his first albums, the producer Miguel Ángel 'Capi' Arenas (Los Pecos, Mecano, Alejandro Sanz) He was put in contact with Beltrán this same night. Like this, he began a process of selection of songs, from among the more than 90 subjects that already had selected Beltrán. From 2013, he already made a gap in the world of Spanish music thanks to the duet formed by the singer Merche and he. In 2016, he attempted to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song Días de alegría. On February 2016, he participated in Objetivo Eurovisión on 1 February 2016, but Barei was chosen to represent Spain.[1] In spite of not winning, he received support from Merche, of which he did a duet with. He was also part of the national jury for Spain in the voting of the 2016 edition of the contest.
