Sara Berman (philanthropist)
Sara Berman is an American philanthropist, journalist, and director of Jewish organizations.
Berman was born on New York city's Upper East Side.[1] Berman is the daughter of philanthropist Michael Steinhardt. She has six children[1]
Berman has been an editor at The Forward and was the parenting columnist for the New York Sun newspaper. [2] She is a trustee of the Steinhardt Foundation for Jewish Life.[3]
In January 2009, Berman was heading the application process for the Hebrew Language Academy Charter School. [2] [4]
