Scarus quoyi, commonly known as Quoy's- or greenblotch parrotfish, is a marine fish native to the western Pacific Ocean, where it lives in coral reefs.[1]
French naturalist Achille Valenciennes described the species in 1840.
In Australian waters, it is found in the northern Great Barrier Reef.[2]
