Schwäbisch Hall – Hohenlohe

Location of constituency in Baden-Württemberg

Schwäbisch Hall – Hohenlohe is one of the 299 single member constituencies used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. One of thirty eight districts covering the state of Baden-Württemberg, it covers the whole of the Schwäbisch Hall and Hohenlohe districts.[1]

The constituency was created for the 1980 election from parts of the Schwäbisch Gmünd - Backnang and Crailsheim constituencies. The constituency was originally called Schwäbisch Hall and assumed its current name for the 1994 election. The boundaries have remained unchanged since its creation. Like its parent constituencies, all elections in Schwäbisch Hall – Hohenlohe have been won by the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).

The current representative is Christian von Stetten,[2] who succeeded his father Wolfgang von Stetten as district representative in 2002.
