Shaikh Abdallah Mazandarani

Abdallah Mazandarani (Persian:عبدالله مازندرانی) was a shia Marja', leader of the constitutional movement against Qajar dynasty. He was one of the pupils of Mirzaye Rashti.

Biography

Early life

His complete name is Molla Abdullah langrudi. His father was shaykh Muhammad Nasir Gilani who travelled from Gilan to Mazandaran province in Iran.Abdulla(1256-1330/1840-1912), was born in the city of Barfrus known today as Amol in the north of Iran.[1][2]His preliminary education was in Iran and after that, He travelled to Atabat.In Karbala, he could take part in the scientific courses of Zayn-al-ʿābedīn Māzandarānī and Shaikh Ḥasan Ardakānī.Then he went to Najaf, the other importatnt city for Continuing his study.It is said that he remainded there the rest of his life.[1]

Political life

He was along with Mohammad Kazem Khorasani and hosein khalili counted as those Ulama who resisted against the Qajar dynasty. Bsides they were known as "Ulama Thalathah of Najaf" city.[3] He was one of primary figures in constitutional movement.He had an important role during the events either before constitutional movement or after that. Such roles are to encourage people to resist against the russian invasion and unfair contracts, writing letters in support of Islam religion and others.[4]Also along with Mohammad Kazem Khorasani, Mazandarani protested againsted the policies and interferes of english government in interiour affairs of Iran.[5]He supported the movement of Iranian people during constitutionalism and sent telegrams and letters for encouraging Them.[6]
