Ethos

The school was well known for its excellence in Physical Education and the Arts (Art, Dance, Drama, Media Studies and Music) forging strong links with the local community. In 2012 the school was awarded the prestigious artsmark gold award for the fourth time in recognition of the outstanding work in this area. The school is one of only a handful in the country to have achieved this on four occasions.

As a result of excellence on the athletics field and in various sports, many students went on to successfully compete at local, District, Regional, National and International levels.
