Shin'onsen (新温泉町 Shin'onsen-chō) is a town located in Mikata District, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.

The town was founded on October 1, 2005, as a result of the merger between the towns of Onsen and Hamasaka, both from Mikata District.

As of September 1, 2015, the town has an estimated population of 15,539. The total area is 241.0 km2.

Shin'onsen lies entirely within the San'in Kaigan Geopark.[1]
