In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the shocker is a type of elemental creature.
Publication history
The shocker first appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).[1]
The shocker appeared in second edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in the Monstrous Compendium Fiend Folio Appendix (1992).[2] The contented one shocker and the sojourner shocker appeared for the Planescape setting in Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III (1998).[3]
The shocker appeared in third edition in the adventure Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil (2001).[4]

A shocker is a creature made of electricity.
