Sleeping Bag (band)

Sleeping Bag is an American alternative/indie rock band based out of Bloomington, Indiana, United States.

History

Sleeping Bag formed in March 2010, when bassist David Woodruff and guitarist Lewis Rogers began practicing and playing with drummer and singer Dave Segedy. Segedy had written many songs for his solo drum project, Whoa Bro Awesome,[1] but found they could be better translated with the addition of Rogers and Woodruff. The band began playing locally in Bloomington, and released their first album in August 2011 through Joyful Noise Recordings. For their 3rd album 'Deep Sleep' Dave Segedy enlisted guitarist Tyler Smith and bassist Glenn Meyers to provide the band with a heavier fuzz-laden sound.
