South Africa will compete at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. The South African team will be made up of one athlete and two officials. Chantelle Jardim will be the Chef De Mission of the team.[2]
The athlete selected will become the first black athlete to represent the country at any Winter Olympics.[2]
Alpine skiing
