Southern Oregon Fuego is an American soccer team based in Medford, Oregon, United States. Founded in 2009, the team plays in National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northwest Division.
The team plays its home games at US Cellular Community Park, where they have played since 2009. The team's colors are red, white and black.
History
Existing as an exhibition team for approximately ten years before joining the NPSL, Southern Oregon regularly hosted exhibition matches against teams such as the Cascade Surge of the USL PDL, local community college teams or collections of area all-stars. In 2009 it was announced that the Fuego would be playing as a member of the NPSL in the Western Division. In their first season Southern Oregon made the divisional playoffs while posting a 4-7-1 record and finishing fourth in the Western Division.
