The Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council is the chairman of the Palestinian Legislative Council. As Chairman, the Speaker replaces the President of the Palestinian National Authority if the latter is unable to perform their role. The current speaker is legislator Aziz Duwaik (Arabic: عبد العزيز دويك).
