Studio Matouš
The Studio Matouš company, founded in 1991, publishes and distributes CDs with classical music. It focuses on Czech composers and the majority of recordings is cast by Czech interpreters and recorded both current and historical instruments.
The label's catalogue is divided into three series. The basic series is coming from its own dramaturgy, in the "Popular classic" series are titles made of previously recorded compositions and it contains only simple prints, and the special series contains titles which are published by order and which are filed into the distribution on request by customers. CDs are sold over the Internet, at concerts of classical music and in selected shops in Prague.
In the catalogue can be found compositions and composers of all historical periods from the gothic era up to now. Some of this label recordings were honoured in the Czech Republic and also abroad.
