The Markaz, Dubai also called Dubai Markaz is a religious and cultural centre of Markazu Ssaqafathi Ssunniyya[1] under the supervision of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of Dubai[2] at Dubai, United Arab Emirates. which wishes to provide services to members of the Muslim community,[3][4] It was opened officially in 22 April 2010 by Dr. Hamad Bin Al Shaikh Ahmad Al Shaibani Director General of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and Chairman of World Peace Award,[5] Sheikh Aboobacker Ahmed chancellor of Markaz,[6] Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim Head of General Security of Dubai,[5] Dr. MAH Azhari Director General of Markaz, Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khateeb Executive Director of Islamic Affairs Sector,[5] Dr. Adel Juma Matar Head of the Islamic Institutions Department,[7] Mohammad Abdullah Al Haj Al Zarouni Head of Emirates Red Crescent[7]
Information
It is an educational centre for those who wish to increase their knowledge of Islamic principles and cultural values and therefore, helping to strengthen the social structure of the community. The centre provides counselling and support in all areas of family life including: pre-marital counselling, marital contracts, marital relationships, parenting.
