TI Automotive develops, manufactures and supplies automotive fluid storage, carrying and delivery systems. The company has 23,000 employees at 130 locations in 28 countries, and supplies all of the world's major automobile manufacturers. TI Automotive serves the automotive aftermarket through Bundy, Walbro and Marwal brands. The company's headquarters are located in Oxford, UK, with Corporate Offices based in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
History
The company was created when Smiths Group divested its newly acquired automotive business in 2000 creating TI Automotive Ltd.[1]
William "Bill" L. Kozyra was named chairman, chief executive officer and president of TI Automotive in May 2008.[2]
In 2009, TI Automotive earned a 2009 Automotive News PACE Award for “ship-in-a-bottle” fuel tank. TI Automotive also won an Automotive News PACE Award for its Duel Channel Single Stage (DCSS) fuel pump.[3]

Fluid Carrying Systems
The TI Automotive Advanced Technology Fluid Carrying Systems Group has two engineering centers in Germany that provide design, development and manufacturing engineering of:
- Rigid tube technology
- Flare technology
- Powertrain technology
- HVAC fluid carrying systems, including accumulators and dryers
- Flexible joint technology
- Flexible tube technology
- Rigid quick connector and jounce technology
- Numerical methods and FEA analysis
- Application and development testing
- Prototyping
The Fuldabrück location focuses on flexible tube products, while the Heidelberg, location produces rigid tube products.[5]
Fluid Storage Systems
The TI Automotive Advanced Technology Storage Systems Group is based in Rastatt, Germany. The team provides global development of core competencies and key capabilities in:
- Advanced design and development engineering
- Advanced application engineering
- Advanced manufacturing process engineering
- Application and development testing
- Advanced materials
- Prototyping
This center is co-located with one the company's plastic fuel tank manufacturing operations.[6]
Fluid Delivery Systems
The TI Automotive Advanced Technology Fluid Delivery Systems Group, based in Caro, Michigan, USA, provides design and development of:
