Tarfia Faizullah is an American poet. She won a 2009 Cohen Award.[1] Her book, Seam won the 2014 Crab Orchard Series in Poetry Open Competition Awards.[2]
Life
She was born in 1980 in Brooklyn, NY and raised in west Texas.
She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Her work appears in American Poetry Review,[3] Memorious,[4] and Blackbird.[5]
She is an editor, and lives in Detroit, MI
