Tedde Moore is a Canadian actress who appeared as Miss Shields in the 1983 film A Christmas Story. She was nominated for a Genie Award at the 5th Genie Awards in 1984 for her acting in the film.[2] She reprised her role in the 1994 film It Runs in the Family and is the only actor to appear in both films. She is also the mother of music producer, Noah "40" Shebib.
She also starred in the 2011 film Mistletoe Over Manhattan as Mrs. Claus who, after sensing her husband is losing his Christmas spirit, travels to a place where she knows the spirit of Christmas still exists: New York City.
Her other film credits include Second Wind (1976), Murder by Decree (1979), The Amateur (1981), Rolling Vengeance (1987) and Down the Road Again (2011).
