Ten Pin Alley 2 is a ten-pin bowling simulation game, published by XS Games and released on the Game Boy Advance platform and later for the Wii. It is the sequel to the game Ten Pin Alley, but was not developed or published by the same company.
Gameplay
The game functioned similarly to its predecessor Ten Pin Alley, however offered players a stripped down and simplified version of the original making the game less about the physics of ten-pin bowling and more about an enjoyable arcade game.
Ten Pin Alley 2 offered players only two gameplay modes, a practice mode and a tournament mode, moreover the game contained eight of its characteristically humorous bowlers, and four alleys.
Control system
One of the main criticisms of the original game was the complexity of its control system, something Ten Pin Alley 2 has tried to correct, making its controls a simple sequence of button presses. The player would thus control position, power, placement and hook.

Response to the game was unanimously poor. The game currently holds a 30% metacritic rating reflecting "generally negative reviews." While aggregator site Game Rankings awards the game a slightly better 32.5%.
Reviews questioned the necessity of a release on the Wii platform, and were particularly scathing in regards to the games sound.[4] Review site Game Chronicles criticised the games graphical capabilities and rendering calling it "outdated"[5] Game Informer were slightly more positive though calling the game an upgrade on Wii Sports[2]
