The Assassin is the debut studio album by American rapper Big Ed the Asssassin, who was then known as Big Ed. It was released on September 1, 1998 through No Limit Records and was mostly produced by members of Beats By the Pound, with one track produced by former 2 Live Crew member, Mr. Mixx (I'm Yo Soldier) and one track produced by Les G (My Entourage).

Reception

The Assassin was a success, peaking at #15 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 120,000 copies its first week. It features one single, "Rodeo". However, in spite of its success, it would be his only album with No Limit.
