The Hightower Lowdown is an American monthly newsletter. Its co-founder and main editor is Jim Hightower. [2]

The Hightower Lowdown delivers Jim Hightower's uniquely populist, hard-hitting, and humorous takes on the issues. Currently, the Lowdown is U.S.'s fastest growing political publication with over 130,000 subscribers across the country, and has received both the Alternative Press Award and the Independent Press Association Award for best national newsletter.[1]
