Thomas P. McCreesh (born March 2, 1928) was a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, serving from 1959 to 1974.[2] He succeeded his father in the senate upon his retirement in 1968.[3] He was born in Philadelphia in 1928, the son of John J. and Susan (née McCabe) McCreesh. He was a real estate broker and appraiser.[4] He attended Saint Joseph's University and, in 1950, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. In 1963, he married Rita McTamney. He also served as a page in the Pennsylvania State senate in the 1940s.[5]
