Traversetolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) west of Bologna and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of Parma. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,546 and an area of 54.6 square kilometres (21.1 sq mi).[1]
