Twice As Nice Productions LLC is an entertainment and production company based in Los Angeles, California. Originally founded in 2011 by Nicholas Audino & Lewis Hughes, Twice As Nice Productions offer a variety of services including production, publishing, A&R consultancy, management and creative development. Twice As Nice are best known for their work with artists Rihanna, DJ Snake, DJ Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Ink & Ariana Grande amongst others.

Formation and history

Nicholas Audino and Lewis Hughes met in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia. In 2011, the duo signed to EMI Music Publishing in New York. In 2012 the company moved its headquarters to New York and later relocated to Los Angeles, where they are currently based. In 2015, Twice As Nice added producer Khaled Rohaim to the team, along with Te Whiti Warbrick (SickDrumz). In October of 2016 Te Whiti (SickDrumz) signed a co-pub deal with Universal Music Publishing as a joint venture with Electric Feel Music LLC & Twice As Nice Publishing LLC.

Other projects

In September 2015 Audino began working with DJ Mustard and his 10 Summer Records label as a consultant, collaborator and creative musical director. Additionally, Audino fulfilled an A&R/Creative role on DJ Snake’s 2016 debut album "Encore". Audino helped orchestrate such songs as "Let Me Love You" featuring Justin Bieber, "Middle" featuring Bipolar Sunshine & "The Half" featuring Jeremih, Young Thug & Swizz Beatz

In 2015, Twice As Nice began artist development. Their first artist, MICHL, released his first song titled "Kill Our Way To Heaven" in November to much critical acclaim.[1][2] MICHL has since released his self titled debut EP.

September 2016 saw the release of artist "Ella Vos". Her debut single "White Noise" spent 3 days atop Hyepmachines popular chart before reaching the #1 position on both of Spotify's US and Global Viral Songs Chart, resulting in over 1 million streams in 15 days.[3]

Notable work

Following Nick Audino's work with DJ Mustard and the 10 Summer Records Label, Twice As Nice have worked on the following selected credits: Rihanna - Needed Me (RIAA certified 3 X Platinum in the USA) - Her second single from her #1 Billboard 200 album Anti which has reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, 'Kid Ink ft. Dej Loaf - Be Real' which is RIAA certified platinum in the USA,[4] 'Ty$ ft. E-40 - Saved' (RIAA certified gold in the USA), 'Kid Ink ft. Fetty Wap - Promise' (RIAA certified gold in the USA).

In 2016, Twice As Nice produced and co-wrote the Ariana Grande single "Be Alright" (Which contains an Interpolation of Mura Masa's "Firefly") from her album Dangerous Woman. Upon release, the song reached #3 on the US iTunes singles sales chart.[5] along with "Step On Up" featured on the Japan released of Ariana's Dangerous Woman Album. Twice as Nice also produced the song "Champagne Problems" from Meghan Trainor's album Thank You which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200.

In 2015, Lewis Hughes also co-produced The "Anchor" EP by Australian band "Birds Of Tokyo". The EP is ARIA certified platinum in Australia.[6]

In 2014 Twice As Nice co-wrote and co-produced Tiesto's single "Wasted" featuring Matthew Koma. "Wasted" debuted at #3 on the UK top 40 Charts[7] and reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100.[8] The song is RIAA certified Platinum in the USA,[9] certified Silver in the UK,[10] and FIMI certified Gold in Italy.[11]
