Uji Station (宇治駅 Uji-eki) is a train station located on the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) Nara Line in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. This station administrates all intermediate stations on the Nara Line.

Layout

Originally, there were a side platform and an island platform serving three tracks on the ground and the station building is on the same level as the platforms and tracks. The station was renewed in August 2000 and there became 2 island platforms serving 4 tracks the station is designed like the Phoenix Hall of Byōdō-in, the sightseeing place of Uji.
