United Kashmir People's National Party
United Kashmir People's National Party (Urdu: متحدہ کشمیر پیپلز نیشنل پارٹی), or UKPNP, is a political party which believes in freedom, democracy and equality, and advocates an independent, united and socialist Kashmir. UKPNP envisages Kashmir as United States of Kashmir, consist of former states of Burushal, Dardistan, Boloristan, Ladakh, Purig, Kishtwar, Duggart, Poonch and Kashmir Valley, which would be achieved through a national democratic revolution. The party was founded on 10 April 1985. Currently, it is being led by Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri as chairman, and Miss Naila Khaneen as senior vice chairperson.
