The Election to the United States House of Representatives in Florida for the 30th Congress was held on October 5, 1846.
Background
In the previous election, Florida had initially elected David Levy Yulee (D) to the House, but he resigned upon being elected to the Senate and was replaced in a special election which was initially won by Edward C. Cabell (W). Cabell's election was successfully challenged by William H. Brockebrough (D). Going into the 1846 election, therefore, Florida was represented by a single Democrat.
