Usman Ibrahim is a Pakistani Politician and a Member of National Assembly of Pakistan currently serving as Minister of State For Housing & Works in Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Cabinet. [1]
Education
He got his Secondary and Intermediate Education from Gujranwala. He then moved to Lahore where he did his B.A from G.C. University, Lahore, and then Bachelor of Laws from University Law College, Lahore. He then moved to Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn and did his Barrister-at-Law. [2]
Political career
He ran for the Parliament of Pakistan in General elections of 2008 and 2013 from Constituency NA-95 on PML-N ticket, winning both times. He remained Member Punjab Assembly from 1985 to 1999, and held the portfolio of Minister of Education of Punjab from 1990 to 1993. On 7 June 2013, he was Sworn in as Minister of State For Housing & Works in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. [3][4][5]
