Valdina (Sicilian: Vaddina) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 180 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,253 and an area of 2.8 square kilometres (1.1 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Valdina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Fondachello and Tracoccia.
Valdina borders the following municipalities: Roccavaldina, Torregrotta, Venetico.
