Vandana Pathak (née Vaidya) is an Indian film, stage and television actress. She is known for playing Gujarati roles in Bollywood movies.[1][2] She is popular for portraying Jayshree Parekh in the sitcom Khichdi, Meenakshi Mathur in Hum Paanch and Gaura Suryavanshi in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
Career
She started her career with Hum Paanch in 1995 and has also acted in Gujarati plays.[3]
Personal life
Pathak was brought up in Ahmedabad,[4] where her father, Arvind Vaidya, was a noted personality of Gujarati theatre. She is married to writer-director Neeraj Pathak who has made films like, Apne, Gumnaam (2008) and Right Yaaa Wrong (2010). The couple has two children: son Yash and daughter Radhika.[5]
