Venugopal Sorab
Venugopala Soraba was an Indian poet and writer in Kannada and in English. He authored five novels in Kannada and several collections of poems in Kannada and English. His first major literary work was a collection of poems called Musuku Nasuku.[1]
Personal life
Soraba was born in Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural district in Karnataka, India, on November 29th, 1937. His father was Rama Rao Soraba and his mother Seeta Bai. He was married to Savita Venugopala, and has four sons. He was an English professor in Kanakapura Rural College and NMKRV College for Women, Jayanagar.
