Viljo Nousiainen

Viljo Nousiainen (9 March 1944 in Kiuruvesi, Finland – 11 June 1999 in Gothenburg, Sweden) was a Sweden Finn athletics coach.

Nousiainen is best known as the coach and step father of Swedish world record high jumper Patrik Sjöberg. His other famous trainees were high jumpers Yannick Tregaro and Stefan Holm and the triple jumper Christian Olsson. In 2011 Sjöberg and Tregaro revealed they had been sexually molested as children by Nousiainen.[1]
