Vinay Chandran
Vinay Chandran is a gay rights and human rights activist, a counselor, a writer based out of Bangalore. Vinay Chandran had also given a TED Talk on Homosexuality in NIT Trichy which is quite famous. He also runs a free helpline for counseling to LGBTQ individuals called Sahaya Helpline. He has written a book from his vast experience as a counselor and many articles as well in the areas of Queer and Human rights.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Activism
Vinay Chandran continues to serve as the Director of the Bangalore Queer Film Festival (BQFF)[9] since its inception in 2008.
