Vittorio Radice is a United Kingdom-based Italian businessman and retail manager, who at various times managed Habitat, part of Marks and Spencer, and Selfridges.[1][2]
Radice was born in 1957 and raised near Lake Como.[3] His father was a furniture retailer. Radice studied agriculture at Milan University, then served in the Italian army.
He started his retail career at the Associated Merchandising Corporation.[3] He moved to Habitat in 1990, becoming Managing Director there in 1992.[3] In 1996 he switched to being MD of Selfridges,[3] and in 2003 became Executive Director for the 'Home Group' of Marks and Spencer.[3] He left M&S after Sir Stuart Rose's 2004 takeover,[1] moving to the Italian La Rinascente chain in 2005.[1][2]
He appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 8 June 2003.[3]
He lives with his family in Hampstead, London.[1]
