The Warminster Journal is a weekly newspaper published in Warminster, Wiltshire in South West England. The paper serves the west Wiltshire towns of Warminster and Westbury as well as the villages of Wylye, Mere, Shrewton and Bratton in the west Wiltshire area.
History
The newspaper was established in 1881 as the Warminster and Westbury Journal and Wilts County Advertiser and with the exception of one year at the end of the First World War, has appeared ever since.[1] Circulation was given as 5600 in 1986.[2]
