West-Graftdijk is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Alkmaar, and lies about 10 km south of the city of Alkmaar. The town has a small historical church, and above the town there is the beautiful bird area Eilandspolder.
In 2001, the town of West-Graftdijk had 583 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.12 km², and contained 223 residences.[1] The statistical area "West-Graftdijk", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 720.[2]
