Westmark School (Encino)

Westmark School is a private school in Encino, California, teaching 2nd through 12th grade. The school serves children with language-based learning differences including attention-deficit disorder and dyslexia among other learning disorders.[1]

The school is the first in the Los Angeles area to provide iPads to all students. School administrators and teachers consider the high costs worth it for what it adds to the education program.[1] The school has also been praised for sparking enthusiasm in students.[2] It has also been praised for its expert faculty in getting students to take interest in reading and improve their reading levels.[3]

The school's Signature Programs and individualized instruction highlight their strengths-based approach to learning, providing an exceptional college-preparatory environment to grow and succeed, not only academically, but throughout life as well.
