William Fettes Pitcairn
William Fettes Pitcairn (1804-1891) was a Scottish theological author.
Life
He was born in Edinburgh in 1804 into an affluent family.
He died at his home 30 York Place in Edinburgh’s New Town[1][2]
He is buried in St Cuthbert’s Churchyard in the city centre.[3] He lies to the north-west of the church with his grandfather Alexander Pitcairn.
