Win Myint (Burmese: ဝင်းမြင့် [wɪ́ɴ mjɪ̰ɴ]; born 8 November 1951) is a Burmese politician, former political prisoner, incumbent Speaker of the House of Representatives, and currently serving as a Pyithu Hluttaw MP for Tamwe Township.[1] In the Burmese general election, 1990, he was elected as an Pyithu Hluttaw MP, winning a majority of 20,388 (56% of the votes), but was never allowed to assume his seat.[2]

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the Rangoon Arts and Science University.[2] In 1985, he became a High Court advocate.[2]
