Wirecard AG (until April 6, 2005: InfoGenie AG) is a global financial services and technology company headquartered in Aschheim, Munich, Germany.
The company mainly provides payment services. One of its subsidiaries is the bank Wirecard Bank AG. It was founded in 1999. The current CEO, Markus Braun, took it over in 2002. Since 2005 Wirecard is quoted on the German stock market.
The company have branches in worldwide locations: Austria, Ireland, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, etc.
