History
Recognized as the original Women's World Tag Team Championship created in the 1952 with its first champion being June Byers & Millie Stafford.

The title switched to the World Wrestling Federation in 1983 when the WWF withdrew from the NWA and bought the rights to the title. The title became known as the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship.[3] |
