The Workshops Rail Museum is a railway museum in Ipswich, Queensland located within the former North Ipswich Railway Workshops.
History
The Workshops Rail Museum opened in August 2002 on the site of Queensland Rail's former North Ipswich Railway Workshops.[1] The site is also the base for Queensland Rail's Heritage Fleet.
Collection
The museum's collection contains items from Queensland's State Government owned railway as well as various private operators.
