Águia Vitória (English: Victory Eagle) is the mascot of Portuguese club S.L. Benfica. Before every Benfica football match at the Estádio da Luz, the eagle flies over the stadium and then lands on top of the club's crest, completing it.[1][2]
It is a bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), trained by André Rodrigues since 2011.[2][3] Glória (Glory) is another eagle which also flies in the stadium.[4]
