Øn Church (Norwegian: Øn kyrkje) is a parish church in Hyllestad Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sørbøvågen. The church is part of the Hyllestad parish in the Sunnfjord deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. There has been a church at Øn (just east of Sørbøvågen) since at least the 14th century.[1][2]

Øn Church is a brick and concrete building which sits along the Hyllestadfjorden. The church, which has 370 seats, was consecrated 15 June 1958 by the Bishop Ragnvald Indrebø. The architect Ole Halvorsen designed the church. The present church was built in Sørbøvågen to replace a previous church located about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) to the east which burned down on 4 November 1940 after being struck by lightning. There was some controversy over where to build the replacement church: on the original location at Øn or in the village of Sørbøvågen. After some debate and a vote, it was settled on building the church in Sørbøvågen.[3]
