1907 Championship of Australia

The 1907 Championship of Australia was an Australian rules football match that took place on 28 September 1907.

The championship was contested by the premiers of the VFL, Carlton and the premiers of the SAFL, Norwood.

The match was played at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, South Australia.

The match, played in front of 12,000, was won by Norwood by a margin of 32 points, giving Norwood its 2nd Championship of Australia Title.[1]

This was the first Championship of Australia match to be held since 1893.

Future Premier of South Australia Lionel Hill and South Australian Attorney-General Shirley Jeffries were members of the victorious Norwood side.[2]
