The 2015 season is Bodø/Glimt's second season back in the Tippeligaen since their relegation at the end of the 2009 season. Bodø/Glimt finished the season in 9th position, whilst also reaching the third round of the Norwegian Cup, where they were defeated by Tromsdalen.

Notes:
  1. Rosenborg qualified for the Europa League second qualifying round by winning the 2015 Norwegian Football Cup. However, since they already qualified for European competition based on their league position, the spot awarded to the cup winners was passed down the league.
  2. Lillestrøm started the season with a one point deduction due to poor financial reporting.[18]
