Adrián Ortolá Vañó (born 20 August 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Deportivo Alavés on loan from FC Barcelona.
Club career
Villarreal
Born in Xàbia, Alicante, Valencian Community, Ortolá joined local Villarreal CF's youth system in 2008. He made his senior debut with the B-team in Segunda División B, his first game in the competition being a 0–3 away loss against CF Reus Deportiu on 2 September 2012.[1]
Barcelona
On 10 July 2013, Ortolá moved to FC Barcelona, signing for three years as a free agent and being assigned to the reserves in Segunda División.[2] He played his first match as a professional on 30 November, in a 1–2 win at Córdoba CF.[3]
Ortolá made 26 appearances in his second season, which ended with relegation to the third level. On 21 March 2015, he was given a straight red card in the 25th minute of an eventual 1–2 away loss to AD Alcorcón, for conceding a penalty kick with a foul on David Rodríguez.[4]
On 11 July 2016, Ortolá was loaned to La Liga club Deportivo Alavés for one year, with an option to another.[5]
