Bill Chmielewski
William "Bill" Chmielewski is a former American basketball player.
He was born on December 12, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and attended Detroit Holy Redeemer High School, where he graduated in 1960, after winning the state basketball championship.[1][2]
He played basketball at the University of Dayton.
Career
Chmielewski, who stood 6'10",[3] won the National Invitation Tournament in 1962 with the University of Dayton. He then left college after two seasons and signed with the Philadelphia Tapers in the American Basketball League.[4]
In 1964, he was selected in the NBA draft by the Cincinnati Royals, but has never played in the NBA.[5][6]
